Applicant Privacy Notice

This Applicant Privacy Notice explains how Scott Apps ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects the personal information you provide when you apply for a job through our job board.

What We Collect

When you apply, we may collect:

Application data — such as your name, contact details, work history, and answers to application questions.
Résumé and attachments — any documents you upload to support your application.
Optional voluntary EEO data — self-identification information (such as race, gender, veteran, or disability status) that you may choose to provide. Providing this is entirely voluntary and does not affect your candidacy.

How We Use Your Information

We use application data and résumé information to:

Evaluate your qualifications for the role you applied to.
Communicate with you about your application and the hiring process.
Maintain records of the hiring process as required for legitimate business and legal purposes.

EEO Data Segregation

Voluntary self-identification data is stored separately and is not shared with the hiring team; it is used only for anonymous compliance reporting. It plays no part in hiring decisions and is never visible to the people evaluating your application.

Data Retention

We retain applicant data for the period configured by the business in its retention settings, and no longer than permitted by applicable law. After the retention period ends, applicant data is deleted or anonymized in accordance with those settings.

Your Data Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your applicant data. To request deletion, you can:

Use the tracking link provided on your application to manage or delete your submission, or
Delete your applicant account, which removes the associated application data.

Third Parties

We may share your information with service providers who process data on our behalf, such as email delivery and file-storage processors, solely to operate the hiring process. These providers are permitted to use your data only as needed to provide their services and are expected to protect it. We do not sell applicant data.
